As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a 

Claims Manager (f/m/d)

to join our Quality Management department as soon as possible
 
Your Duties
Receiving complaints for the screw pump and centrifugal pump product groups
Decision on acceptance, goodwill or rejection of the complaint
Determining and forwarding the immediate measure(s) to the executing department
Determine the cause(s) of the complaint and develop corrective measures, involving specialist departments if necessary
Determining and forwarding the corrective measure(s) to the executing department
Informing the department causing the error to avoid repetitions
Creating and updating the warranty list
Regular discussion of justified complaints with QM
Communication with customers: for larger complaints, complex issues or in individual cases also on site
Continuous evaluation of complaints using Pareto analysis
Development of preventive measures referenced to the Pareto analysis carried out
   
The requirements
Completed studies as a mechanical engineer or comparable technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in the fields described above, product knowledge is an advantage
Ability to work independently with a strong service and customer orientation
Ability to work in a team beyond the specialist area and assertiveness
Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
Good IT skills (Office package)
Willingness to travel occasionally as part of claim assessments worldwide
